We have a number of different services and the self pay fees can be found in the relevant sections below.

By law, all private providers must disclose their fees to patients. We email this CMA financial disclosure with every appointment and are happy to clarify any costs for you.

Histology is usually included in any package price for skin cancer but if charged separately is £170 for normal skin specimens and £300 for hair biopsies.

We are happy to offer any clarification to our reports if things are not clear, but repeated email requests for further information are charged at our professional rate of £40 per email.

Insured patients

Our charges are in line with the published fee schedules for patients insured with BUPA, AXA PPP and Aviva.

The Western Provident Association (WPA) fee schedule is used for patients insured with other companies.

Regrettably, if your insurance policy does not fully reimburse the costs of the procedure, you will be liable for any shortfall.

If you have an excess on your insurance of more than £200 you may wish to consider self funding your appointment unless any follow ups or procedures are likely.

If you are making an appointment for a skin lesion that might require testing or removal we would advise you to find out if your insurance will pre-authorise you for same day treatment, eg biopsy S1500, curettage or shave removal S1110/S1420 respectively or cryotherapy (freezing) S1110.

We recommend you check with your insurance company and the details of your policy prior to an appointment being booked. You will be liable for any shortfall.
